Blink Health - Patient led management of auto-refill schedules
Pharmacy Inventory for Blink Health Pharmacy
The problem:
Inventory was managed using an outdated 3rd party system.
The goal:
to move pharmacy inventory into our existing in-house software to be able to manage ALL pharmacy operations from a single platform.
My Role:
I operated as the only product designer, and worked directly with the engineering team (without a product manager on the project). Additionally, I conducted all user research and interviews. All work was peer reviewed and reviewed by leadership.
Initial Experience
Pharmacists would use this system in addition to the in-house platform (RxOS) to complete their inventory tasks. By importing this software into RxOS, pharmacists would be able to be more efficient, and save time completing their inventory tasks (which are performed daily).

Design process
Learning the existing pharmacy software, and all inventory related tasks performed by a Lead Pharmacist
Working closely with the Lead Pharmacist to improve upon the user experience while keeping key functionality and expected interactions for a seamless transition for both existing Blink Pharmacists but also for new Pharmacists being onboarded to Blink.
Frequent feedback sessions with the Lead Product Designer as well as peer Senior Product Designer
Designed in Figma, utilizing components
Final Designs, prepared for engineering hand-off
Results:
This project has been approved by leadership, pharmacy leads and engineering but has been de-prioritized for launch in 2021.
